Getting the KakoBuy app on iPhone or Android without a lookalike, and what the app does that the website doesn't

Checked and updated .

Short answer: The KakoBuy app is on the iOS App Store, where the US listing read on 12 October 2026 shows 3.6 stars from 148 ratings, an 18+ age rating, version 1.0.72 and developer Everyday Go Co., Limited of Hong Kong. For Android, KakoBuy's homepage links an APK hosted on its own domain, and we found no Google Play listing. Download only from those two sources, because APKs passed around elsewhere cannot be verified.

The two official routes

KakoBuy has an iPhone app in the App Store and an Android installer hosted on its own website. That is all we could verify on 12 October 2026. There is no Google Play listing that we found, so searching for "KakoBuy app download" on an Android phone will not lead to a store page.

The rating, ranking and size are one-day snapshots from the US store, and other countries' listings may differ. The number 260828 in the APK name could mean a build dated 28 August 2026; that is our reading, not something KakoBuy says.

What the App Store listing tells you

The listing's 3.6 stars from 148 ratings is a small sample. For comparison, Trustpilot showed a TrustScore of 4.2 across 321 reviews that day, but Trustpilot rates the service, not the software. The listing's age rating is 18+.

The developer name matters more. Everyday Go Co., Limited of Hong Kong is the third company name tied to KakoBuy, after EVERYDAY GO INC on the About page and ANXIN SHOPPING CO., LTD in the Service Terms. We do not claim these are different businesses or one group; we report all three and cover the details on the legitimacy page.

The latest version notes we read for 1.0.72 mention zoomable images and a display of the original purchase ID. The second ties in with a feature KakoBuy announced on 22 October 2025, which lets you check a seller-side purchase order number for shipping, dispatch or delivery progress. It sits under User Center, then Order, then Purchase Order Number.

The listing is real and modestly rated; the developer name is one of three KakoBuy uses.

Installing an Android APK safely

An APK is an installer file, so installing one means trusting whoever built it. Google Play adds a review layer; an APK from a website does not. That is why the source matters more than the file name.

  1. Type kakobuy.com into the browser yourself; do not follow a link from a spreadsheet, comment or message.
  2. Find the app download link on the homepage; on 12 October 2026 it pointed at static.kakobuy.com.
  3. Confirm the address bar shows the kakobuy.com domain and a valid certificate before downloading.
  4. Allow installation from that one source only when Android asks, and turn the permission off afterwards.
  5. Log in on the real website first to confirm your account works, then use the same email in the app.

Why not take a copy from elsewhere? A shared APK can be edited to request more permissions or to capture your login, and nothing in the file tells you. Our official website page covers lookalike sites, and the not-working page keeps the incident log.

Install only an APK you reached by typing kakobuy.com yourself.

Web versus app: what we could verify

KakoBuy's help pages do not publish a feature comparison, so the table lists only what we saw documented. A blank means we could not verify it, not that the feature is missing.

For a spreadsheet user, the website is the dependable path: links convert there, and the link converter builds the item URL for you. The shipping calculator works from the official estimator quotes.

The app adds notices and viewing comforts; the website covers every step of an order.

Permissions and data in the app

KakoBuy's privacy statement is the only official description of what the app collects. It lists five third-party tools. WeChat's tool enables sharing and login and collects device and network information. Weibo's tool collects network details and device identifiers, such as MAC address and IMEI. Facebook's tool collects location, device information and a list of installed apps. Aurora delivers push notices of orders and parcels, and Bugly gathers error reports.

The statement also says KakoBuy uses GA and Baidu analytics to measure visits to its sites and apps, and that it may use contact details for promotions with your consent. You can say no to marketing and decline location when the phone asks.

  • Decline location unless you need it for something specific.
  • Turn push notices on only if you want order alerts; the order status guide explains the statuses they report.
  • Use a password you do not reuse anywhere else.

The privacy statement names five SDKs; review the permissions before accepting them.

When the app and the website disagree

If a status, price or tracking line looks different in the app, check the website before acting. KakoBuy announced that its tracking feature was restored on 24 September 2025 after an overloaded interface server, and warned on 18 October 2025 that an image server upgrade could stop pictures loading for some hours. Both show that a screen can lag the real order. Log out and in once, then wait an hour. If it persists, use the QR code on our contact page or message KakoBuy support.

Also remember that a payment made inside the app follows the same rules as on the web: pay per order and check the PayPal fee shown on the screen. The fees page lists the charges.

When the two differ, trust the website and wait an hour.

Questions buyers ask

Is there a KakoBuy app on Google Play?

We found no Google Play listing for KakoBuy when we checked on 12 October 2026. For Android, the homepage of kakobuy.com links an installable APK file hosted at static.kakobuy.com. That is the only Android route we could verify. If a Play Store app with KakoBuy's name appears, compare the developer name against Everyday Go Co., Limited before installing, and prefer the website if in doubt.

Is the KakoBuy iOS app rated well?

Moderately. The US App Store listing read on 12 October 2026 shows 3.6 stars from 148 ratings. That is lower than the 4.2 TrustScore KakoBuy holds on Trustpilot from 321 reviews, but the two measure different things: one rates the app, the other the service. Neither sample is large, so use both as hints and not as a verdict.

Who publishes the KakoBuy app?

The App Store lists the developer as Everyday Go Co., Limited, with a Hong Kong address. KakoBuy's About page names EVERYDAY GO INC in Denver, Colorado, and its Service Terms name ANXIN SHOPPING CO., LTD in the United Kingdom. Three names appear in three places; we report them all and recommend you read the terms before paying.

Is it safe to install a KakoBuy APK from a Reddit or Telegram link?

We would not. An APK is an installer you run outside a store's review, so a copy shared in a chat can be altered without any visible sign. The file linked from kakobuy.com on 12 October 2026 was kakobuy_260828.apk on static.kakobuy.com. Open the site yourself, find the download link there, and ignore links from spreadsheets or comments.

Do I need the app to use a KakoBuy spreadsheet row?

No. A row works through the website: KakoBuy's item pages load from a link in the form kakobuy.com/item/details?url= followed by the encoded marketplace address, and our link converter builds that for you. The app adds convenience such as push notices and zoomable images, but nothing we found makes it a requirement for buying, shipping or paying.

What does the app's privacy policy say about data?

KakoBuy's privacy statement lists third-party tools in its app: WeChat, Weibo and Facebook sharing and login, Aurora for pushing order and parcel notices, and Bugly for error reports. It says the Facebook tool may collect location, device information and a list of installed apps. Decide whether you accept those permissions.
