Superbuy's fee table, set against KakoBuy
Superbuy is unusual because it prints a fee table instead of a slogan. We read it on 5 October 2026 and the homepage still answered on 12 October 2026, so the label is Open on our agents hub. KakoBuy's column comes from its help centre on 12 October 2026.

Who should pick Superbuy as the fallback
- Suits: a buyer who wants to see every fee before paying and values a long-running name (its footer reads 2012 to 2026).
- Suits: rows with simple items where three QC photos are enough.
- Does not suit: a sheet full of Xianyu finds, where the ¥20 flat charge bites, or a buyer who wants PayPal, which Superbuy's list does not name.
Choose Superbuy for new-goods rows when KakoBuy errors out, not for used ones.
Carrying one row from KakoBuy to Superbuy
No Superbuy link template appears in the notes we trust, so do not guess at one. KakoBuy's own format is kakobuy.com/item/details?url= plus an encoded address; strip the wrapper and keep the marketplace address. Our link converter does this for Taobao, Weidian and 1688.
- Copy the Taobao, Weidian or 1688 address out of the KakoBuy link.
- Sign in on superbuy.com and paste the address into its search bar.
- Match the variant (size, colour) to the spreadsheet row before adding it.
- Pay that order alone, then pay shipping when the parcel is ready.

Storage maths: per item against per order
The two agents count differently. Superbuy keeps goods 90 days, then bills ¥0.1 per item per day, to a maximum of 180 days. KakoBuy gives 100 days, then ¥10 per order per 30 days; its storage page has the full clock.

So the cheaper side depends on how you check out, which is a reason to keep each haul inside one agent. Small money either way; late fees matter less than losing the goods.
Fewer, larger orders favour KakoBuy; scattered single items favour Superbuy.
Customs and shipping for US, UK and EU buyers
The agent does not decide duty. US duty-free treatment for low-value parcels ended in 2025, the EU charges a flat €3 per tariff category on parcels up to €150 since 1 July 2026, and UK VAT up to £135 is collected at checkout. KakoBuy's estimator quoted $16.29 for 1,000 g to the UK on 12 October 2026 and its US lines start near $38. Questions buyers ask
Does Superbuy charge more than KakoBuy for a normal Taobao row?
Not on the service line. Superbuy's fee page lists no service fee for Taobao, Tmall, JD and 1688, and KakoBuy's help page says it charges only item cost, shipping and customs. The gaps appear elsewhere: Superbuy's second-hand fees, its per-item storage charge, and the 3 free QC photos against KakoBuy's unpublished count. Compare the final checkout total.
What does Superbuy charge for second-hand rows?
Superbuy's fee page, read on 5 October 2026, lists a flat ¥20 per item for goods from Xianyu, Paipai and Zhuanzhuan, and 10% (¥10 to ¥20) for Kongfz and other second-hand sites. On a ¥150 Xianyu item that is about 13%, which is worth knowing before you copy a used-goods row from a KakoBuy sheet.
How much would 10 items cost to store at Superbuy after 90 days?
Superbuy's page gives ¥0.1 per item per day after 90 days, up to 180 days. Ten items kept 30 extra days cost 10 × 30 × ¥0.1 = ¥30, about $4.20. KakoBuy would charge ¥10 per order for the same 30 days after day 100. Many items in one order favour KakoBuy; items spread across many orders favour Superbuy.
Are Superbuy's 3 free QC photos enough?
Three photos show the front and a couple of angles, which suits simple items. Superbuy sells detailed photos at ¥2, though an example on the same page uses ¥3, so we cannot give one reliable price. KakoBuy's personalised photos are ¥2 each. For a shoe or bag, budget for extra shots on either agent.
Is Superbuy a safe backup, given its Trustpilot score?
On 5 October 2026 Trustpilot showed Superbuy at 4.5 from 1,033 reviews, a little above KakoBuy's 4.2 from 321 on 12 October. The footer says 2012 to 2026 and the operator is named as DOT TECHNOLOGY HONG KONG LIMITED. Those are signals, not guarantees, so still pay per order and keep nothing idle.
Can I use a Superbuy discount on a row I found for KakoBuy?
Possibly, but we could not verify Superbuy's current coupon rules, and we never print codes. KakoBuy's own offers are redeemed under User Center, Coupons, Redeem, and only on KakoBuy. Treat a discount at either agent as a bonus, never the reason to pick one, and decide on the full landed price after shipping and fees.
