HooBuy's numeric link pattern
HooBuy is one of the agents whose item address can be built by hand. The pattern is hoobuy.com/product/N/ID, with a marketplace code in place of N.

Status card and who HooBuy suits
Label: Open on 12 October 2026, meaning the homepage answered. Terms were read on 6 October 2026. The operator is named as HYPERLAB TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED with a London address, and our status notes mention a pair of apps launched in late 2024.
- Suits: a buyer who wants to rebuild links by formula and pay by card, WeChat or Alipay.
- Suits: someone who has seen the agents hub comparison and wants a second open agent.
- Does not suit: a buyer who needs a bank-transfer method that only a third-party guide mentions.

Where the payment claims disagree
HooBuy's official help lists cards, WeChat and Alipay. A third-party guide lists iDEAL, Sofort, SEPA and Blik, which would matter to German, Dutch or Polish buyers. We could not confirm them, so we do not repeat them as fact.

Shipping and duty for EU, US and UK buyers
An agent cannot remove duty. From 1 July 2026 the EU applies a flat €3 per tariff category on parcels up to €150, and KakoBuy says it charges €3 per parcel and shows duty-free lines; see our Germany page. For the UK, VAT up to £135 is collected at sale. KakoBuy's estimator quoted $23.70 for 1,000 g to Germany on its DHL line on 12 October 2026. We have no HooBuy line prices, so compare estimates for the same weight. Another fallback is Sugargoo.

What is the HooBuy link format?
HooBuy's product addresses follow hoobuy.com/product/N/ID, where N is 1 for Taobao, 2 for Weidian and 0 for 1688, and ID is the marketplace item number. The pattern comes from our converter notes dated 5 October 2026. If a link built this way fails to load, paste the original marketplace address into HooBuy's search box instead.
Does HooBuy accept iDEAL, Sofort, SEPA or Blik?
Only according to a third-party guide. HooBuy's own help page, read on 6 October 2026, lists cards, WeChat and Alipay. KakoBuy's help centre names PayPal, Alipay, WeChat Pay and Wise. Because the official lists differ from the guide, open HooBuy's real checkout and see which methods it offers for your country before you rely on a local bank option.
How does HooBuy's Trustpilot rating compare with KakoBuy's?
HooBuy showed 3.7 from 569 reviews on 6 October 2026, with the newest review dated 18 September. KakoBuy showed 4.2 from 321 reviews on 12 October. HooBuy has more reviews but a lower score, and its newest review was almost three weeks old on that date. Neither reading predicts your order, so test with a low-value row and pay per order.
Is HooBuy's 90-day storage shorter than KakoBuy's?
Yes, by ten days. HooBuy advertises 90 days of free storage, while KakoBuy gives 100 days from the in-storage status and emails a reminder at day 90. We did not find HooBuy's extension price in our notes. Put the HooBuy deadline in your tracker, and submit the parcel before day 80 if you want a margin.
Does HooBuy charge a commission on top of item prices?
HooBuy does not advertise one, according to the notes we use, so we cannot quote a percentage. KakoBuy states it charges only item cost, domestic freight, international shipping and customs, with customs generally ¥8 per parcel. For HooBuy, open the order summary on a real item and read every line before paying.
Can I use HooBuy for a row that failed at KakoBuy for a restricted item?
Not as a workaround. If a row failed because the item is restricted, battery, liquid or trademark-infringing goods rules apply at every agent, and a second agent will not change the law. If the failure was a seller who delisted the product or an error page, HooBuy is a fair second try.
