Where HipoBuy fits behind KakoBuy: free service, a ¥10 declaration line and what its public QC photos mean

Checked and updated .

Short answer: HipoBuy can rebuy a KakoBuy spreadsheet row, since both work from Taobao, Weidian and 1688 listings. Its own pages call the service free, add a customs declaration of about ¥10 per parcel against KakoBuy's generally ¥8, and keep items 90 days against KakoBuy's 100. It takes cards and PayPal. Trustpilot had withdrawn its score by 6 October 2026, with 761 reviews listed.

Finds to price on HipoBuy when KakoBuy is down

These product photos come from repbuysheet.com, which has 10,000+ products to choose from. Each card opens its product page there with the full photo set and price; the selection changes every month.

Is HipoBuy a sensible second agent?

If a KakoBuy row fails, you want a second agent that handles the same marketplaces and does not demand a new fee structure. HipoBuy qualifies on paper. Its label on our agents hub is Open: the homepage answered on 12 October 2026 and no credible closure report turned up.

  • Suits: a buyer who wants a card or PayPal option and a free-service agent.
  • Suits: a buyer who reads public QC photos before deciding on extras.
  • Does not suit: anyone who wants a score on Trustpilot or a verified link template.

A plain spare agent: decent terms, thin evidence.

Fee lines, one at a time

"Free service" hides the lines that matter. Here is every line we could source, with both agents.

Declaration, four parcels, HipoBuy: 4 × ¥10 = ¥40, about $5.60

The difference is pocket change; the missing extension and photo prices are the real unknowns.

Carrying a row across

We have no verified HipoBuy link template, so the safest route is the original marketplace address. Run the KakoBuy link through the link converter, paste the result into HipoBuy's search box and check the variant list. A KakoBuy link looks like kakobuy.com/item/details?url= plus an encoded address, and the part after the equals sign is what you need.

If the item does not appear in search, the seller may have delisted it, which would also explain a KakoBuy failure. Cross-check on the marketplace itself before blaming either agent.

Original marketplace address in, variant check out.

Public QC photos: a convenience with a catch

Our notes record HipoBuy's QC photos as public. That helps a spreadsheet reader see the real item before ordering. The catch is privacy: anything public can be seen by others, so avoid putting order numbers or addresses in photo requests. KakoBuy has had its own photo problem: its help centre says the 11 May 2026 image incident affected photos created or updated on 2 to 8 May 2026, not accounts or payments. Our QC photos page has the inspection scope.

Public photos help buyers and cost you privacy; use them, but keep order data out.

Shipping to the US, UK and EU

Customs law is the same for every agent. The EU applies a flat €3 duty per tariff category on parcels up to €150 from 1 July 2026, and UK VAT on goods up to £135 is collected at the point of sale. KakoBuy's estimator quoted $16.29 for 1,000 g to the UK on 12 October 2026; see our UK page. We have no HipoBuy line prices, so run its estimator on the same weight. For another fallback, read the LitBuy page. If you would rather skip a second account, scan the QR on the contact page and pay per order.

Compare quotes on identical weights, and pay each order as you place it.

Questions buyers ask

Is HipoBuy really free?

HipoBuy's pages describe the service as free, but that means no agent commission, not no cost. You still pay the item price, domestic freight to its warehouse, international shipping and a customs declaration of about ¥10 per parcel. KakoBuy likewise states no handling fee and charges a declaration of generally ¥8. Always read the checkout total before you pay.

How much extra is HipoBuy's declaration over four parcels?

HipoBuy lists about ¥10 per parcel and KakoBuy generally ¥8. Over four parcels that is ¥40 against ¥32, a gap of ¥8, roughly $1.12 at ¥1 ≈ $0.14. The gap is small, so shipping quotes and photo needs should decide, not this line. Both figures are approximate, and lines can add their own charges.

What are HipoBuy's public QC photos?

Our notes record HipoBuy's QC photos as public, meaning they can be seen without logging in, according to the agent directory we used. We did not verify how many are free or whether anyone can find your order. KakoBuy publishes no free count and charges ¥2 per extra photo. Do not share order IDs publicly.

Why does HipoBuy have no Trustpilot score?

Trustpilot had withdrawn the headline score by 5 October 2026, while still listing 763 reviews, then 761 on 6 October. KakoBuy showed 4.2 from 321 on 12 October. A withdrawn score gives you nothing to compare, so read the newest reviews directly and keep the first order low in value.

Can I pay HipoBuy with PayPal?

HipoBuy's pages list cards and PayPal. KakoBuy lists PayPal, Alipay, WeChat Pay and Wise, and its help articles disagree on the PayPal fee, 3.5% plus $0.30 in one and 2.9% plus $0.30 in another. We found no HipoBuy PayPal fee, so look for it in the checkout summary and pay each order when you place it.

Does HipoBuy have a link pattern I can build by hand?

We have no verified template. Take the Taobao, Weidian or 1688 address out of the KakoBuy link with our converter, paste it into HipoBuy's search box and match the variant list. Guessing a link risks landing on the wrong marketplace, as numeric codes differ between agents that do publish patterns.
