ACBuy rows and parcels under a Hold label: what to pull out first and how to rebuy the rest through KakoBuy

Four signals that do not agree

A Hold label is not a verdict. It means the evidence points two ways, so you keep exposure at zero while you decide. Here is what we could line up, with who said it.

The site being up is the weakest of these signals, because a homepage can stay online long after orders stop moving.

One dated closure report against a live homepage that carries a cyberattack notice: treat it as Hold.

The pull-out order: parcels, then stored items, then rows

1. Log in only through an address you type yourself and screenshot every open order, parcel and stored item.
2. Parcels already paid for: ask support in writing for a ship date. Keep the reply.
3. Stored items: if checkout still works, submit them for shipping. Pay the shipping for that parcel only, and do not add a deposit for anything else.
4. Unbought rows: copy the marketplace link from each row or order page.
5. Rebuy those links through KakoBuy and pay per order.

ACBuy's published terms (6 October) list ¥8 handling, ¥10 to ¥30 customs and ¥10 per item on special platforms, so a late parcel can carry several lines. Read the total before you pay.

Get goods out first; paperwork can wait, but screenshots cannot be made later.

Turning an ACBuy row into a KakoBuy order

We found no confirmed ACBuy link format, so do not guess one. Open the row and look for the original shop address behind it. If the sheet only shows ACBuy's wrapper, paste the wrapper into a browser while the site loads and read the destination. Then rebuild the marketplace address from the item number:

• Taobao: item.taobao.com, with the number in an id parameter.
• Weidian: weidian.com, with an itemID parameter.
• 1688: detail.1688.com/offer/ followed by the number and .html.

The KakoBuy link converter wraps any of these into kakobuy.com/item/details?url= with the address encoded. Compare the CNY price on the item page with your sheet before paying. The row-check CSV has columns for this.

The marketplace address survives the agent; the wrapper does not matter.

ACBuy against KakoBuy on the terms that matter

In the KakoBuy estimator on 12 October 2026, 1,000 g to the United States cost $39.28 through its USPS Tax-Free Line, listed at 7–13 days; no dimensions were entered. Our USA page explains why tax-free lines matter since the end of the $800 exemption.

KakoBuy is cheaper on the customs line and has a clean status; the rest is close.

Protect the login you used

ACBuy's cyberattack statement does not tell us what was affected. If you reused its password anywhere, change those passwords now, starting with email. Be wary of "refund" messages that use ACBuy's name. For a second agent that is open, see Oopbuy, and for KakoBuy's own track record read the legitimacy check. Questions buyers ask

Is it safe to place a new order with ACBuy right now?

We would not. Our Hold label means the signals conflict: the homepage loaded on 12 October 2026 with notices about a warehouse upgrade and cyberattacks, while rep.tools reported a closure in August. A page that loads proves little about whether orders are processed. Buy the same row through KakoBuy and pay per order instead.

What should I do with a parcel already submitted to ACBuy?

Check the order status inside your account today and screenshot it. If the parcel has not shipped, ask support in writing whether it will. Keep the receipt, the payment confirmation and any tracking number. If it never moves, the next step is a dispute with your card or PayPal, filed early. We cannot promise any outcome.

Can I use my ACBuy order history to rebuy items elsewhere?

Yes, as a list. Each order page shows the original marketplace item, and that address works at any agent that accepts Taobao, Weidian or 1688 links. Copy the links out while the site still loads, since a later outage would take the history with it. Then paste them into KakoBuy's item/details?url= wrapper.

Does ACBuy's cyberattack notice mean my password leaked?

We could not verify what the notice covers, so assume nothing either way. Change the password on any other site where you reused it, turn on two-step login for your email, and be cautious with messages claiming to be ACBuy support. Being careful costs ten minutes; reusing one password across agents can cost far more.

How long do items stay in storage at ACBuy?

ACBuy's own terms, read on 6 October 2026, give 90 days of free storage, extendable to a maximum of 180, and its homepage repeated the 90 days on 12 October. KakoBuy states 100 days and ¥10 per order for each extra 30 days. With a Hold agent, the shorter clock matters less than getting the items out.

Will KakoBuy buy a row that ACBuy already purchased?

No. An item bought through ACBuy is in ACBuy's warehouse, and KakoBuy cannot take it from there. The only route is to have ACBuy ship it to you, then use KakoBuy for new rows. For items not yet purchased, a fresh KakoBuy order from the original link is the way.
