What sits behind a TikTok sheet row
A creator's video points to a link in their bio. That link opens a spreadsheet, and each row contains a product link plus a photo and a price. The row can end in four places: a marketplace listing, an agent's item page, a short link that redirects somewhere, or a TikTok Shop product. Which one it is decides what you can do with the row in a KakoBuy spreadsheet workflow.

A six-point check for any creator row
- Open the link in a private window and read the address after redirects.
- Find the marketplace address inside any agent wrapper; KakoBuy's own format places it after
url=. - Confirm the item title and photo match the sheet's picture, not just the price.
- Compare variant and size with the seller's measurements, not the creator's comment.
- Check the date of the last edit on the sheet, since the sheet may be older than the video.
- Price the row to your door with KakoBuy's estimator at the parcel weight you expect.

A row passes only if the address, the photo and the price quote all agree.
TikTok Shop is a different thing
TikTok Shop is TikTok's own store inside the app, owned by ByteDance's platform. Orders go through TikTok's checkout and the seller or TikTok ships directly to you. That makes it a direct retailer, so KakoBuy's agent steps do not apply: no warehouse, no 100-day storage, no QC photos. Returns follow TikTok Shop's policy for your country, which we did not verify here.
One practical point: a creator may show a TikTok Shop item in a video and list a Weidian twin in a sheet, or the reverse. Treat them as two separate orders with separate costs, and record the source in your sheet.

Why creators attach different agents
Some creators earn a reward when followers sign up. KakoBuy's published programme works like this: a referral counts when the invited friend's cumulative payments reach ¥100, and rewards rise from ¥50 for one friend to ¥2,000 for 50. Invented referrals and multiple accounts are disqualified. That does not make a creator's pick wrong, but it explains why agent choices follow the creator. For a price check, run the same item through two agents using the marketplace address and compare the totals. A worked example: a 1,000 g parcel to Germany was quoted at $23.70 by KakoBuy's estimator on 12 October 2026; any rival quote needs the same weight to be comparable.
A creator's agent choice is a clue to the incentive, not to the best price.
When the video was right but the sheet is stale
Sheets drift. Listings go out of stock, sellers change variants and agents close. If a row's agent is offline, the original marketplace address is usually still readable inside the link. KakoBuy's notices and rep.tools' status board are the places to check an agent claim, and our not-working page keeps a dated log. Are TikTok spreadsheet links safe to click?
Treat each one as unverified. A creator's sheet is edited by one person, and anyone with access could replace a link. Hover to see the real address, look for the marketplace domain inside any agent wrapper, and open the product page rather than a shortened link. If a row asks you to log in or pay on a page you do not recognise, stop.

Can I buy a TikTok Shop item through KakoBuy?
Not in the normal way. TikTok Shop is a direct store inside TikTok, owned by ByteDance's platform, and it ships to you itself. KakoBuy lists Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and JD.com as supported. If a TikTok Shop item looks the same as a marketplace listing, compare the landed price from each before choosing.
What do I do when a row's agent has closed?
Extract the original marketplace address from the link, then paste it into an open agent. For KakoBuy the format is kakobuy.com/item/details?url= followed by the encoded address, which our converter builds. Our status notes on 12 October 2026 list CNFans and AllChinaBuy as offline, so rows built for them need this step.
Did KakoBuy get raided, as some TikTok videos claimed?
The claims followed brief website downtime in mid-August 2026. rep.tools, which earns a KakoBuy affiliate commission, said on 31 August 2026 that no evidence supports a raid or shutdown, and KakoBuy's site and announcements continued, including notices on 7 September and 9 October 2026. KakoBuy published no outage notice we could find.
Should I use a creator's code or a shared invitation code?
You can, but know what it does: the code owner may earn a referral reward, and KakoBuy advertises the same new-user coupon bundle to everyone. We do not print any codes. Official codes are announced on KakoBuy's announcement page and Discord, and redemption is under User Center, then Coupons, then Redeem.
